Litigation Funds Distribution: Responsible for the distribution of the settlement of Van Vranken v. ARCO funds to the class of ARCO distributors. Developed computer programs and systems to research, track and allocate by volume of purchased petroleum products. Controlled all aspects of funds distribution to class members, attorneys, and filing services.

Petroleum Property and Loan Evaluation: Directed engagement providing management and technical consulting in the design and development of a database-oriented petroleum and loan evaluation system in the energy department of a large independent bank. Evaluated petroleum production and economic models for selection and integration into a full-scale petroleum property and loan evaluation system. Models future oil and gas production and revenues, cash flows, taxable income, tax credits and liabilities, and capital investment schedules. Also provides present values and other financial indicators based on projected information.

Pension Information Systems: Participated in the design and development of a national union organization's mission critical systems for accounting functions and tracking of pension and medical insurance. Subsystems included statistical analysis of prescription drug use and physician's payments, eligibility and payments for health, pension and survivor benefits for over one million beneficiaries. Developed large scale data base design using advanced concepts in software.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Mr. Swanson received his BS in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland and continued in Operations Research at the Graduate School of Business, University of Maryland.
