REPRESENTATIVE CONSULTING ASSIGNMENTS

Global Networking Consulting 

IBM Global Network Business Plan Strategy and Development: Participated in the IBM Global Network (IGN) business plan strategy. The business plan included market share revenue projections, technology investment alternatives, operations costs, P&L and balance sheet analysis for US and global expansion. In addition, the project supported the valuation of the current US partner operation for investment alternatives. 

AT&T Global Network Business Case Development: Participated in the AT&T business case for their Unified Global Network (UGN). The business case consolidated 13 internal administrative networks with 250,000 users into one unified global network and included verification of savings, migration schedule and expense, capital investment, and NPV (Net Present Value) projections. In addition, support projects were developed for cost recovery using ABM (Activity Based Management) and a comparative industry pricing study. 

Samsung Global Technology Assessment: Mr. Swanson led a project which assisted Samsung, a large multinational manufacturer of computer and consumer electronics, within a strategic market study of the Information Technology industry. The project included documenting the method of information gathering to reevaluate changing on a continuing and timely basis. Working with the client, the team selected eight global information technology market segments. These representative market segments ranged from knowledge sharing and internet/intranet technology to communications and home entertainment
